We will be following all Government and Industry guidelines with respect to Covid-19.
The only people accessing the Cottage, apart from our guests, will be ourselves and our cleaner and only for as long as we continue to have no symptoms, or contact with known cases.
When entering the cottage we will wash our hands and will wear gloves whilst deep cleaning to protect ourselves and our guests.
We ask our guests to wash their hands thoroughly when entering and re-entering the Cottage and inform us in the event of exhibiting any symptoms whilst staying at the property.
All hard surfaces and contact points (light switches, door handles, TV remotes, chair backs, etc.) are thoroughly cleaned at each change over and all crockery and cutlery will be run through the dishwasher again.
We will also require guests to strip all bedding from the bed and place it in the laundry bags provided, along with your towels, to minimise the risk to our cleaning staff.
To give us the time to clean we will ask guests to vacate the property by 09:30 and where we have changeovers on the same day we may ask guests to arrive a little later than usual to allow us the time to carry out the deep clean.
We cannot properly clean every last book, etc. but again, request that guests regularly wash their hands to protect themselves and others. We ask guests to leave any books they have handled in the box provided and they will be quarantined until the risk of the virus has passed. As it is hard to select DVD’s without handling we have temporarily removed these from the property.
Local businesses and restaurants are starting to reopen and those restaurants that are not open are providing a takeaway service.
We hope we will continue to be able to offer a cozy hideaway from the current madness!
